The hospital pumps are the best, but you can only rent them. In long run it becomes costly.
The hospital recommends only 2 brands \" Medella\" and \" Ameda purely Yours\"
I bought Ameda from hospital and very much happy it. My couple of freinds used Medella - pump in style and Medella is also very good.
For other brands please see reviews first, because you cannot return pump once package is opened.

I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.

I would recommend an electric evenflo one. It was very good and satisfying. Initially I brought a manual one, but I found it pretty strenous, then someone recommended me this one. It can be used cordless with battery too. Used it for 6-7 months (was a life saver for the 1st month at least) and it was for ~45$ from RiteAid (its available in Walmart too).
Hope this helps..

Hi Suba,
I had rented hospital pump for six months when I had my baby. I even brought Medeal in Style after a month(thinking that I will use that as I was paying $55 per month for the hospital brand..I can tell you from my experience that there is no brand out in market that can be as fast and efficient then hospital brand. As a result I ended up renting for six months in total. yes economically buying is better but time saver and efficient is hospital brand...

Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.

Hi suba,

Obv the hospital pumps are better, but I went and got the Safety First which was two pumps with single hand. So I was pumping both sides at the same time with just one hand. My other hand was free which helped me a lot coz i culd massage my breasts while pumping inorder to get more milk out. It costed $50 and its probably not the best, but it served my purpose excellently for 6 months.

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
