I am 5 weeks preganant & i am having very light spotting.i had spotting during my regualr period for 3 days & again i am experiencing spotting today.i am scared .is it normal or something to worry.Please suggest

i too had a spotting in my 8th months of pregnancy and i was hospitalised for a day. pls do not do any kind of work. and do consult to ur doctor. take proper bed rest with ur legs up with a pillow.

Hi,
If u hv spotting in ur pregnancy, then u need to tell this to ur doctor and take lot of rest. Dont lift anything heavy, dont move around much. I had spotting from my 7th week and it continued for about a month. My doctor had told me to take lot of rest, no going out, no cooking, etc. So consult ur doctor and dont take tension. Spotting is not normal but it is common and spotting necessarily does not mean a bad sign. The first trimester is very crucial. Once u finish ur 3 months, u will be safe. Take care.

read ur message. im from the dc due date club. i had the same prob in the 5thw eek. now im into week 9. thght it was not pregnancy and i was getting my periods. doc asked me to take bed rest immediately.also go for a visit to the doc coz she can confirm if ur pregs n everything is alright. she may even give u some medicines to control ur spotting. all the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How do we know wether we are pregnant when we have our periods,and what exactly is spooting,i thought i was pregnant because my period got delayed for 10days it never happens,then on 10th day i had my period there was a very thick fluid dicharge i did not know what it was got scared,and usually my period last for 3-4 days but this was like reduced to 1-2 days am i pregnant or is something wrong with me,i had a very severe stomach ache when i had my period this time please help
