Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

Hi all,
My query may seem stupid but I have to ask someone. we have been married for the past two years and my hubby has been using condoms for contraception. Recently we have started planning for a baby and stopped using condoms. My problem is that after the sexual act, when I get up, some of the ejaculated fluid comes out. And in the morning also, after getting up, some more fluid comes out. I am also worried that if all the fluid is coming out then how will I get pregnent. Moreover, it gives me a very unhygenic feeling and I don't feel like making love without condom.
Please advice

Smile replied. Hi,Actually i don't want to know the use of condoms. What I meant was we are also using condoms and will be trying for the baby this year end. I was feeling the same thing happening with me when we are trying. So i just wanted to know what solution u have to this problem of fluid coming out. Regarding ur issue, its not a problem. It is normal for semen to flow out after intercourse. There r two separate things - semen and sperms. The sperms r needed to conceive a baby and semen is the liquid that carry sperms. So after ejaculation (i.e, the process when the liquid comes out of ur husband), the sperms go inside u but only the semen comes out which is normal. The semen will always come out after intercourse. So dont worry and hv patience.
When trying for baby it is always better if u lie down for 10-15 mnts after intercourse instead of getting up immediately or washing.
I too feel having sx without condoms very messy so we had sex without condoms only when trying but now I am pregnant and we use condoms. So u could also do the same. Once u get pregnant, go back to having sx with condoms again.

Thanks. sowmya replied. hi, same was the problem with me.but i found a solution.i hope it helps you too.after your husband ejaculates, lift your legs up & stay like that for a few minutes so that the fluid rolls down into you easily.or you can also keep a pillow under your butt.the point is your uterus should be down & vagina should be up.try this and let me know if it works for you.best of luck
