Hi. I know this has been already said and wrote many times, but can u pls give me in detail some of the home made baby foods for 8 months plus babies. I give my baby raagi and rawa kheer (thanks to this thread i learnt from here how to prepare this). Pls tell me some more of these kinds which are healthy for babies. Ur help will be very very much appreciated. I am alone and this is my first baby. I do get tensed as to i am missing out on varieties of foods to feed her. Thanks in advance.

Hi ,

You can give rice dal khichdi . Add around 1 spoon rice and 1 spoon moong dal and pressure cook it with salt and veggies like carrots/green peas/beans/spinach etc and then after cooking mash it well by spoon or blender and add ghee and feed the baby .
You can also give mashed banana as it is or add a little milk to it and feed by spoon . You can mash banana by spoon or hand .
Give baby cerelac..you get many flavours and varieties .
You can also make veggie soups and boil veggies like potatoes or peas and mash them in blender and add salt if required and feed the baby .
You can also make fruit juices(apple,watermelon,grapes,mosambi) or make milk shakes etc.
