Dear Archie
My sis is TTC for last 8 months.She went thru all the checkups and her doc told her that her boday is anti sperm. What does it mean? and what is the solution?
One more thing her doc gave her Clomid 50mg this time which she took from CD2 to CD6 . Now she is complaing Lower portion pain(lower abdomen and feet pain) from CD 15. Is it Normal? Does the pain indicates some problem? Pls carify. Eagerly waiting for ur reply. Thanx
archie replied. your sister has antibodies against sperm and there is high chance that sperms are killed before they reach the fallopian tube. I am not sure type of antibodies she has may be once fertilized she will be able to carry pregnancy but to get to fertilization stage her body will be big obstracle for sperms to get to egg. So her patience is required.
I am not sure clomid would help alleviate this problem. clomid is an ovulation inducer and not working to stop antibodies against sperm. May be your sister also has a problem of ovulation or irregular cycles.

her feelings of pain lower abdomen and leg cramps is normal. She should not worry. Beside she need to be confident that things will work for her and do not harbor negative thoughts. You should not tell her all besides it's normal to feel discomfort in lower abdomen and leg cramps. Who knows may be she is hitting success in this cycle itself.
