Hey Gals,
Thanks for your previous answers.
Iam taking my BBT everyday from Nov 7th,It started from 97.5 constant for 3 days n then fell
.2/.3degree F. frpm past 4days it showing low 96.5 or 97.2.According to online ovltn calculator.I ll be ovulating from13-17.
I am thinking which 1 to follow. Will BBT be constant after ovaltn?till my next periods?

Thanks,

I've heard it takes 2-5 days for the temperature to rise after Ovulation. I just started charting. This month I got a +ve OPK on the 11th meaning I must have ovulated on the 12th and my temperature started rising only on the 15th. Till the 15th it was anywhere between 97.0 to 97.4. On the 15th it was 97.6 , 16th 97.8 and today it was 98.25. So I guess the rise in temperature is happening. I think it will stay above 98 till I get my periods. If I don't get periods then it should stay high throughout.

So if you think you ovulated between 13th to the 17th then you should expect the rise to happen after 2 days minimum.

Anyway for some women it takes 5 days.

Hope this helps.

Hii strawberrypink

Following ovulation your BBT should increase and stay elevated till your next period.Usually before ovulation my BBT ranges between 97 and 97.4 but after ovulation i have seen that its always 98 or may be a little more than 98.
My BBT usually drops the day i get my period. But if you were to conceive this cycle you BBT should remain elevated for atleast 17 days after ovulation i think.
