I am going to india with my 9 month old son for 4 months from USA.It is not possible for me to take all his 4 month supply of gerber food, diapers, wipes etc so Where can I found baby food, Formula, Diapers, Wipes, Cereals, High Chair etc in Pune? I will be mostly in Dhankawdi area.It is not required that store should be in that area. I can go Tulasi bag, Shopper Stop etc area to buy that.
And one more question What home made food I can give him in India?

Don't worry about Pune - lots of baby shops in Pune at least for clothes and diapers etc. I gave birth to my son in Pune in 2005 and found lots of good shops. Maitrik is on Lakshmi road - well stocked . Then there's Bonsai in Aundh - but maybe too far for you .And I am sure Main street will have some baby shops that stock diapers and foods . My suggestion would be to carry enough food like gerber and rest you can get here. Although I have heard lots of my friends from US the quality of diapers in India is not so good, but here babies don't spend that much time in pampers etc so it's OK .

Home made foods you can try are khichdi, ragi porridge . Also some creeal mix you get which in Maharashtra, you fry in lil ghee and mix in milk and give. Most babies love it.

Enjoy your stay in Pune momtwiceover replied. There is no problem in buying things for the baby in Pune. I don't live there but have visited several times. Lot of big stores and chemists around main street where all things are available ,from food to furniture to diapers of several brands. You can give khichdi of moong dal, sooji cooked in ghee and milk with honey added, dalia cooked in milk. Hope this helps.
