i live in uk.my gal baby is 7+ months old...plz giv me few menu to feed my baby...right now i giv her the cow & gate ready mix food like (mixed fruits and cereals) for breakfast and i prepare a puree of mixed veg with rice and dal for lunch... for dinner i giv cerelac...but i dont want to continue this...i wannna giv her som hommade healthy food...plz help me..really no idea wat to giv...thanks.. rama replied. hi vidhya
thank u so much for ur reply..as u hv said, i mashed the food and tried from the day one, but she refused to eat tht...thn i felt somhow i shud giv her all the nutrients she needs..thts y i make a puree of eveything...but anyway i ll start trying to giv her the mashed foods...i hv one more query...she does not drink water...wat shud i do...from beginin i didn hv enof breastmilk..but even now i breastfeed watever is thr...wat shud i do to drink water...she does hv som constipation problem now...pplz help me..

as far as i can see u r already giving her the best healthy food like dhal, vegetables etc... for a 7 mnth old she can only digest upto this.. may b once she is 9 mnths u can start with idli ,dosa and other things..
and one word of advice please dont puree the food for her in blender/mixie..doctors in india strongly advise against that .. so instead of blending mash the vegetables with a spoon/hand when they are hot.. this way they wud get mashed easily and the consistensy wont b that of a puree, this wud help the kid chew.. i did this mistake and my daughter is now 15mnth old and she is still not chewing her food and i have to blend everything for her.. so...
