Hi ,
I am new here .find this board very useful for people like us who are trying to concieve since long .
I ve been trying since 14 months but no success so far . an having hypothyroid(its in control now ) . recently went to the doctor and got every thing checked .my tubes are clear ,fsh ,lh etc fine .my husbands semen profile is also fine .

i have a 30 days cycle .now its going to be 35 days and no periods !today i did a home pregnency test .it was negative . i want to know how reliable these home pregnency tests are and after how long i should actually do this test . I am feeling some pain in my breasts also .
please advice !
thanks Stephanie replied. I have checked this out also, and I found out that even if you get a cheap test it will be accurate. This is unless you take it before it says to. If your period is late maybe its stress related and the breast tenderness could be a sign that it is about to start. Sunny replied. From Sunny -

My wife found the tests to be pretty reliable. Mistake if any, would be mainly human (in procedure). Do the test again.

If you underwent radio treatment for thyroid, take advice of doctor on when you should conceive. 14 months is not too long, Some take 2 / 3 years of try.

Pain in breasts - Please imm take medical advise. It could be just a normal clotting.
