My dd is going to daycare since she is 5 months old, but to an indian who was just taking care of 2 kids at her home including my dd, she was fine from first day itseld bcoz she was v. small, & she was very friends baby all the time. she didn't seem to have seperation separation anxiety at all. Later when she was 10 months old, i put her with different indian lady who had a daughter herself who was 1.5 yrs elder mine, there too she used to be so happy all the time playing with that big girl, she infact refuses to come home in evening, but after coming from India & in this new job, i am sending her to a daycare run by Americans, here she feels that\" separation anxiety\" she is not happy to go ther, she cries or make unhappy face whe i leave her there & go, but her teacher says that she will be fine playing withother kids soon after i leave. she wouldn't eat well as she was doing at home bcoz they won't feed her, you should be ready for all prob related to germs like cold , cough even to fever, in my case no ther alternative for me. i feel bad that i make her suffer that too. , i infact started my career when she was just 2 months old & worked 13 hours & plus 3 hours on road, i had all that bad expe, i am happy now that i have overcome all that now have a comfartable 8 hours less stressful job,but as you said \" when it comes in starting our career we need to sacrifice on those things\" , i donn't have any regrets for the past , so happy as i am . I am sure your dd will be fine, its just a matter of couple of initial days
Good luck

Thanks for the reply Roopa. I thought that your kid has recentely joined daycare. My only worry is separation anxity. Iam just wondering how long it will take for Trisha to get used to there with other kids.

Breast pumps
I am using a medela pump to feed my baby when I am out. The medela breast pumps are really a good choice for the working moms. We can pump the milk regularly and can store it and use whenever needed.... - dalewhither [View Message]
evenflo elan breast pump
Buy this pump! It’s made my life so much easier. I always got sore with my old Medela Advanced, but that never happens with the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump. What really makes a difference is its ease of use. It’s really easy to switch between pumping phases and take apart to clean. Strongly recommend it for all mothers that pump daily.... - stellatylor [View Message]

try this
As we discussed earlier in this forum I used magnetic alphabets , through which he has learnt alphabets within a week. And number within 4 days.
It is as like take the letter and stick to it where ever he goes more and ask him to search a particular letter. this worked very well for me.
all the best... - Manju [View Message]
