In the US, doctors say you can give yolk from around 9-12 months and start white from 1 yr. If you have not started anything yet and want to be cautious, you can start with yolk alone for sometime. Later, you can give yolk + white.

There must be many ways to give yolk alone. The only way I know is to boil the egg and separate the yolk. Mash it along with fresh rice or kichidi.
