Hi,

Its been four months i am having continuous hairfall after delivery. Is it mandatory that hair has to fall in huge volumes. I almost lost half of my hair and if this continues there will be nothing left over on my head. Are there any remedies to atleast control this hairfall!!! Hair fall after delivery is very common and there is actually nothing you can do about it. 95% of the women lose half of their hair because of hairfall after the delivery. So you are loosing the hair heavily after pregnancy then it must be due to high dosage of tablets and you take the good food like milk and egg and leafy vegetables so that your hair fall may reduce also.I wish it works also. chin replied. it generally happenns during pregnancy. my mom also lost her lot of hair during preganancy when i was in her womb. it is quite normal.consult a doctor to control hairfall. Meena replied. Hi Meena, you need to be patient. I also faced the same problem. My hair was contineously falling in huge masses but after 6 months it got back to normal...so no need to worry. This is normal after delivery...If you are still concerned, check with the doctor.
