hi frds,

my baby is 7 months old and uptill now (from 3months old)i was giving him water in feeding bottle as he was not able to drink from sipper.....

but now as he understands many thinks and milk bottle and water bottle looks like same as both having nipple so whenever he is thirsty he doesnt drink from bottle as he feels that it is a milk bottle...

i m working so my MIL has started giving him water in a glass... which is of no use but all water falls on his clothes and i feel that neither he feels satisfied.... so i brought a sipper for him.... but the prob is same that he can only sucks from nipple and dont know how to suck from sipper....

so shall i wait for 2-3 more days may be he start sucking from sipper or skip the sipper part and start glass.... bec after 2-3 months i have to in any case start glass for milk and water both...

kindly suggest as per ur experience...
Bye
but now

hi,
iam a mother of 2.5 year old boy. i started giving himm sipper @ 10 months old.but the n also he was unable for a few days.i feel ur kid is too small to suck from sipper. more over its better to give him in lite weight glass so that u can avoid the head ache of getting rid of bottles n sipper later.bcos as they grow they become reluctant and dont want to give up sipper/bottle. at that tender age we cant yell or beat him. we have to face lt of head ache then. so my suggestion is give him in glass. initially he may wet his clothes but iam sure after a month he weill get used to it.till 1 year they may spill milk/water on their clothes. no need to worry.u can wrap a towel around him so that he wont spoil his clothes.

RE:The Parents Guide to Healthy Snacking
So my sister’s child is a very fussy eater. She generally makes veggie cheese rolls or sandwiches to get her to eat her vegetables. She tries to use colourful and pretty veggies to get her to eat. Giving smoothies, fruit salads and milkshakes is another appetizing and attractive method. In fact she even decided to supplement her diet with Immuno Boosters and Brain Booste... - say [View Message]

RE:Breakfast options for 2 year old
hello pooja,
for your kids you can make heavy breakfast like you can blend apple with oats or any other fruits with oats, and make heavy breakfast, there is no need of egg after this breakfast for anyone,.... - rohini [View Message]

hello pooja,
in morning you should make your shedule little beat busy, like you should give time to make breakfast for them, so you can make egg toasted smiles, or make oats and fruits breakfast also for them.... - ranjana [View Message]
