I wanna to lose weight in 3 months time . I have lots of fat in my tummy and upper leg.

Hi fion,

I understand ur concern !!! Well to start off I would like to tell u that I have become obese myself....

All of us know that if we exercised / went on a diet we would loose wt!!!! BUT the missing point is the determination!!! I just go on harping and askingf for suggestions BUT dont do anything about it!!! I think just set ur mind and get on wuith it.. as u go on, u will realise what is working for u and what isnt!!!!!

I had a freind who was amazingly FAT (easily over 100 kgs)!!! she also used to alweaz say, \";hey I have been like this since childhood anmd nothin works\";!!!!
after marriage, she had problems conceiving and the only soln was to cut doewn on fat!!!!

U wouldnt beleive it,,, I saw her snap a few mnths back and i was zapped!!! she had lost a hell lot of wt...

so lets both pep up, get a little determined and stay off sugar/fats and walk. thast should do the trick in maybe 3-6 mnths

u must try your best and u will definitely succeed. u need not do hyper exercises, just simple ones like bending and jogging on the stop should help u. good luck

Dear Fion,

While we all have some genetic reasons for our structure and for being thin or fat, what makes us fat is the balance of calorie intake and output, Am speaking from personal experience, I was 15 kg over weight when i got pregnant. I will probably be 25-30 kgs over when i deliver. Really scares me, but I know that we are obviously eating more that our body can spend. So if you are not eating junk, maybe you just need to step up your calorie burning rate, And regular exercise is all that helps.

I have lost 10 kgs twice in my life, but have put it back as I became careless. It probably means a lifestyle change,but hey its worth it!

Hi
I am a dietician - and the only way that is guaranteed to have permanent results is to take a calorie controlled diet and excercise....but the mistake most people make is guessing their portion sizes and calories. You need some things to start. Buy a small notebook and a calorie counter book, which lists all the calories of food and a set of kitchen scales. Then drink at least 8 glasses of water a day - this helps to flush the fat out of you. eat appx. 200 cals for b'fast 300 cals for lunch and 400 cals for dinner, plus a couple of pieces of fruit daily to really loose weight. Its not easy - but hey, you'll look great.

There is no shortcut, so please dont look for one. Am learning that the hard way....
Also you may want to check if you have a thyroid problem (since u say u r born with it).
You need to restrict intake of calories as well as do aerobics and lift weights on alternate days. All the best

hi,
see i can just sugges u some exercises whether u'l lose weight or not depends on u. sleep on ur stomuch. try to lift ur hands n legs slowly when u lift breath and hold it for few seconds and when u come down release ur breath. first try for 5 minutes if ur comfortable increase it slowly

Hi, if u wanna lose weight, the only thing that will help u is right diet and lots of exercise. If possible, join a gym as there they have diff types of equipments which help in shedding body fat. Abt diet, stop munching junk foods and food items like ghee, butter, cheese, chocolates, cookies, fried foods, etc.
Try it and u will see a difference. Best wishes!
