hi all

yesterday i went to another gyno , after an intra-vaginal scan she told i have PCO though i am having my mens regularly.

anyway could u pls tell me what shoud i eat ? i mean as an india my main course of food is rice and wheat floor bread (roti)...should i give up that ?

do u think i can ever become pregnant ?

As P says, PCOS is very common and has nothing to do with failure in pregnancy.

Ur doc will give u tablets like Letroz, Letrozol etc to ward of PCOS. These tablets will take care of it.

U seriously dont need to worry. Eat healthy fud and hav a gr8 relation with ur husband and keep ur mind cool. Things will definitely work fine for u.

Plz dont lose hope, PCOs is very common , especially in Indian women .. there are so many women who have PCOS and have become pregnat without any doctor intervention and many many more who have become pregnant with doctor's help ....

so dont worry ... it is not the end of the world , my mom had PCOS and she had two of us without any help from doctor , a living example ..!!

be sure to get your hormone levels checked since hormone imbalance causes PCOS ...

and PCOs women have higher chance of putting weight , so try to watch your weight since PCOS+overweight reduces your success in pregnancy ... i think our indian food should be fine as long as u r not overweight ...
