Name: twins

Hi All,

I am California mom expecting twin girls (any week now!), and am concerned about raising them, particularly as a working mom in the US. Does anyone has any suggestions/ideas/advice on raising twins? What are the hurdles/missteps to avoid? I would love to hear from twin mommies? If you have a friend in Northern California (bay area, USA) who's had twins, can you hook me up with them? My email is dr.mreddy@gmail.

hi manju,
Congratulations to you and your hubby!hope u have a great delivery!
I am a mother of twin boys, they will be 7 mths next month.
its tough managing htem, but belive me there is a lot of joy as well.
since i stay in india i have lot of support in the form of family and maids.i know in US its a little difficult, but then there are other material useful things to support you.
see as far as feeding twins is concerned, its a little difficult, but not impossible. u can successfully breastfeed both the girls..one at a time or at the same time, but iwill tk lot of time and patience form your end..u will have to concentrate only on feeding sessions...hey why dont you chat with me sometime...it s very difficult to pen down everything..i m available on prachi_wasnikar on yahoo.
all the best
tk care,
Prachi
