There is no specific rule of brushing and flossing your teeth, but twice a day is a good habit. Avoid sweets especially at night , smoking, and chewing tobacco , having regular soft drinks and most important having hot food, to much hot tea and coffee . EAT HEALTHY AND STAY HEALTHY.

My kids floss and brush twice a day. We are pretty strict at home when it comes to dental hygiene and personal hygiene. My kids' school too is very particular about these things and this helps us at home to enforce it :)

There are certain dental practises that help in ensuring that your teeth and gums are healthy. First off, brush and floss twice a day. Rinse your mouth thoroughly after every meal and never brush as soon as you eat. Brush only after an hour so that the acid secretion from the food you eat don't mess with your enamel. My daughter learnt flossing as a practise from one of her friends at school (Orchids). I sadly wasn't aware of it till then and today even I follow it along with her.

Well brushing twice a day is good and best and advisable but yes if you are facing some issue like dental issue hygiene or roughness. Please start brushing 3 times in a day and also it is advisable to visit a doctor asap . This will give you more points to check and also know the health of your teeth which is actually needed to be kept in check

Enjoy

RE:Consticipation for 4 years old
This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
Also, my usual comment - use a child-size glycerin suppository if he's gone for two or more days without doing a do.... - Suzanne [View Message]
