Working Mother:creche with maid - a problem or solution

I am a working lady.My child is one year old.When he was 5 months old I sarted leaving my child in the creche with my maid .but I never find my child happy there .till date he is not enjoying though there are 6/7 children of the same age group. he feels better at home but we can't leave maid and child alone at home .He is not gaining weight,not started walking yet.we r nuclear family.I am not able to take any decision what to do .he is becoming stubborn and irritating by nature.

first of all thanks a lot for giving me number of questions to think upon and
I am really sorry ,not able to help u because i am from delhi ,but yes time to time we will definately discuss the problems regarding crech and health if u r intrested. My betu showed me each and every type of problem in the last few months. home remedies to medicine and continuous leaves to sleepless nights . A change sometimes bring real happiness.

I don't know if I am the right person to reply. My son is 8 months old and I am planning to send him to a creche from next month.But after reading ur message I am scared.
I will suggest you to go with your child to creche for 2-3 days and see how they treat him... Do they play with him or just feed him as per the time table and make him sleep... Do he feel lonely there as no one is there to talk to him. Is he getting love also with proper care... Try to find out the problem, discuss it with the creche operator.... if it doesn't get solved try for a different chreche... because at this age it's very important that your child feel happy to grow physically as well as mentally.

Hi Poornima,
I am a working mother. I am working in Electronic City. and looking for a good creche in and around electronic city. I will be leaving my kid for full day (from 8:30 - 5:30 at least) over there.
Please let me know if you know about any good creche in e-city.

I am happy that you are planning to open a creche of your own. I might not be able to avail that facility due to its location, but i am sure it will be very helpful for many other mothers like me.

I am a working mother and now i am planning to find a solution for leaving kids in the absence of the mothers. I am planning to start a day care in bangalore close to Whitefield and ITPL since i am shifting there. I would like to know few things from you.
1. whether you are a working mother or a stay at home mother.
2. whether you will be leaving your baby full time or for few hours.

I got the solution for my baby.There was a creche in my colony with number of children of diff age group and in diff slots. What I find in that crech is interaction among children and the care elder children take of youngers.they eat food together , involve other children to play with them and above all the devotion of both husband and wife(creche owner). I stayed there only for 2 or 3 hours for two days and today I joined my office.
The problem with the last crech was -first of all it is in the office premises so they could call us any time which was against the wishes of boss;my maid who became too friendly with the workers there , always found busy in gossips ;the 4th class workers which are govt. employees found themselves demoted and they never show intrest in children ;if once child refused to eat mercy god!oooooof .many and many more. but now I really pray god to settle the things for me. the only advantage was that I could go and see my child any time. BUT what is necessary is that child should be safe , happy and take his diet ,rest will be done automatically.
