my baby is 9mons old n im givin her kanji,rice,veggies n fruits.but she is not taking water n i dont want to give her juice,also she is not taking cup yet.she cries a lot when i try to feed her in a cup(both water n milk).plz lemme know what to do.im depressed.many babies i know at this age take cup. vidhya replied. hi,
my daughter too did the same thing.most breast-fed babies dont like to take water if not introduced to them from the begining.so dont worry.if shes not taking from sippy cup, then try giving it to her directly from the tumbler(if possilbe from the ones u drink milk), so that she wud think she too is drinking from her moms cup. by 11 mnths they wud start drinking from the cup. now my daughter is 13mnths old and she has jus started to drink water( without forcing her)..so dont worry
