hello karish, and everybody else.

I got my periods today after a gap of 47 days. I was very hopeful that since my periods were delayed for so long that i would get a positive result for pregnancy. guess i just have to wait now. can anybody tell me how can i predict as to when i would ovulate this month cause my periods this month have been erratic. i usually get it between 34-36 days and its been 47 this time. can anybody help me with my question. thanks

You could try the Basal Body Temping. It worked for me. There are some websites which allow you to plot your daily temperatures. You could try temping for a month and see if you are able to detect your time of ovulation. BBT worked for me after 4 IUI cycles, hence the reason I really vote for it.

I completley understand ur feelings, i feel like this everytime i get my periods .... anyway there is always hope for the next time :)

I guess the best way to predict ovulation will be OPK since when your LH surges , it means u r going to ovulate in the very near future and get early notification ..!!

The other method would be BBT (Basal body temperature ), the temperature rises after you ovulate, i guess the problem with that is u dont get earlier notice, u can find out that u have ovulated after the temp rise.

Some people also say that the cervical mucus will be more clear and stretchy, (personally i ahve never been able to detect that for me ...)
