My daughter 10months old stopped eating food from last 10 days. She is just taking BM.
From last 3 days she caught very high fever (around 102-103)+ unusual stools after I feed her cerelac etc.
Consulted a paed. - says its kind of viral infection and stays for 6-7 days. Hasnt given any medicine except crocin/paracetamol. Can anyone suggest something. I am very worried as my childs health has come down and she has become very weak. Fever occurs every 4-5 hours and have to give Crocin to keep it down. Neha replied. hi anu,
my son had the same problem 2 weeks back. don't give ur daughetr anything to eat i mean like solids.i dpn't know abt breastmilk but i stopped giving him formula too.instead og that i gave him lactose free or there comes diarrhea formula also.
if she has diarrhea, give her pedialyte 2 ozs every 2 hrs the whole day.
don't worry u r not starving her.she needs this to heel her stomach organs.
don't worry abt health too.she'll catch up later.
stomach infection comes with fever diarrhea n vomitings.it'll take its time....5 -6 days.
