Nitika,
First of all I want to correct your statement that if you take clomid you should get pregnant. This is not true. For some it's matter or dose, for some it leads to vaginal dryness and for some there is unknown reason those affect chances of conception.
Typically, clomid is given to induce your ovulation and maintain cycle around 30 days. These two points are helpful for those who have been victim of irregular ovulvation or erratic cycles.
I don't know what reason you are treated for. With all in good shape and in agreement you will have only 20% of chances not 100%.
In many there is scanty mucus while on clomid, you seems not to suffer that trouble and may be good for your spouse's sperm to flow into fallopian tube.

If your spouse bears healthy and quality sperms with adequate in number you may hit success.

you are producing ovulation which may suggest ovulation is around the corner, anytime in 24 to 48 hours.

Yes, you can have intercourse once a 24 hours until CD16 and take rest thereafter. I would recommend not to think about outcome and relax hereafter.

PS. kerry pointed most of her personal experience and also down side of clomid.

Subject:  clomid

Hi, I have taken clomid previously on several ocassions. First time I fell pregnant the second month and had a baby girl after two years of trying. Two years later we wanted another child and I took clomid for three months and nothing happened. I found my periods were getting lighter only 3 days long and my mucus was drying up all because of the clomid which is a side effect for longer term use. I decided to have a break the next month to give my body a rest. I then fell pregnant the month I did not take it. I have read that the clomid can thin the uterus lining and dry up mucus so I decided that month to take evening primrose oil capsuals at 3000mg a day. I read that it helps improve the mucus quality for the sperm and the quantity so the mucus has a better passage of travel. I also took extra vitamin B6. Don't be scared to take a break from it your body needs it. I hope this information helps.
