Trying since long:Questions

Hello ,
I am new to this group. I became pregnant about 6 months back but miscarried in 6 weeks. After that I have had my periods regularly. I know I ovulate since i use a ovulation meter. I ovulate sometimes on the 17th day and sometimes on the 18th and sometimes even on the 20 th to 22nd day of my 34 day cycle. Is this normal ?
Will be asking my doctor about this too.

Recently just 3 days before I was expecting my periods I felt nausea, mild cramps and thought this was it. However my periods were here instead in a couple of days at 36th day of my cycle. Not sure why I felt nausea. I never get nausea usually with my periods. So this truly was unusual. Has anyone experienced this before.

Thanks in advance
Simba

Thanks a lot to all of you who responded. It makes you feel better when you can ask questions freely without being judged. We have just started to TTC about 6 months back ... but the pressure from in laws and freinds is a lot. Freinds who just have had kids are the most annoying as they keep asking about good news. My husband is very comforting. He says we are not in a hurry as I am only 27 this year.

Anyway thanks a lot!

simba,
there is no concern.
do not intercourse for fist 15 days and only intercourse between CD15 to CD24 once a 24 hours.
your cycles are OK.
feeling nausea is not strange, may be you are paying too much attention to pregnancy symptoms. And is due to progesterone which is also luteal phase hormone.

Hi Simba,
I can understand your pain and your doubts. Please Trust God. Always remember, \";If He brings you to it, He'll get you through it.\";
I can sympathize with the Nausea and cramps etc. It has happened with me also. I usually do get cramps. but I remember, a couple of months ago, I was so nauseous, i was sure I was pregnant. But, I got my periods.
Best of luck for trying, love.
May God showers lots of baby dust on you.
Take care,
Love,
Sunshine

Subject:  Dear Simba,

I too miscarried at 6 weeks, but twice. I read that it is normal to ovlate in different days occasionally. Because, ovalation depends on your menstral cycle. When your period delays naturally your ovlation delays too. But, I don't know if it happens to you regularly.

After the miscarriages, what i notice different about my menstral cycle is that my period feels pretty much like pregnancy. I get nausea, I urinate often, tiredness and I even get food cravings (normally chinese food for me). If fooled me so many times (becasue i think that I am pregnant every time this happens).
I talked to my docter and she said that it is normal to have the symptoms I have during the period time. In fact it is very common among the women, the thing is, we don't usually notice all these symptoms. I feel that we start noticing the symptoms only when we ttc. Because during ttc we are much more tuned in to our body.
But, if you are worried see a doctor. If you are in the US, you can call toll free # 1-800-nurse and ask the nurse.
Hope this helps,
Love,
Latha

Thanks for your response Latha. I guess I am excited about the possibility of getting pregnant so I feel pregnant before my periods are due. See in my case about 6 months back I got pregnant the first time we ttc and it ended up in a miscarriage in 6 weeks. This experience probably got me more anxious. However this time my periods were a bit more painful and heavy. I am meeting my gynac doc this week.

Thanks again
