hello everyone,

i am shaana. i live in india with my hubby & 15 month old son. we are planning to migrate to canada by march this year.

need some tips / suggestions / advise from all you there regarding the stuff we hv to carry in terms of household items / food products etc. etc. we will be renting an apartment there.

please help.

hi rashpal,

we will be going to toronto as my hubby's relatives stay at missisauga. we plan to stay with them for a week or so until we find an apartment to rent & then both of us plan to start job hunting.

we have good indian , pakistani and srilankan grocery stores here , so no need to get all that stuff.
First of all where are u migrating from ?

hi disha,

we are settled in bombay. my hubby works with airlines and i am working with a financial consultancy firm.

we had been to canada in july 2005 to get our visa stamped. now we have decided to resign & move to canada by march or april this year. its going to be a very big decision for both of us.

we have a 15 month old son. currently my mil & a maid takes care of him. i am planning to start working there. so we hv to make arrangements for day care etc.

i hv a lot of queries & doubts. can u plz help me?
