I am delhi based mother of 3 yr old girl. my daughter goes to playschool n daycare from 9:00am to 4:00pm. From past 1 month, she has caught cold cough n fever. i consulted paed. and has given antibiotics twice in gap of 15 days. but she gets well and after medicine is stopped she catches cold n fever agn. pls suggest. major prob is she is not eating anything - milk or meals. doc suggested nt to offer her food till she herself asks for it. since she is not well, she doesnt ask for anything whole day, hse stays hungry. am worried. please advise. thanks Jaya replied. Just check whether the milk intake is more. I faced the same problem when my son was around 3 years. Our peadiatrician has told us that after 3 years, the secretion of enzymes that digest milk comes down and a 3 year old child does not need more that 2 glasses of milk a day. depal replied. if any child dosnt eat or ask for food made two three things in small amount and put in front of him and let her select and have whtever amount then change the menu next time
