Body and Fitness:Unwanted Hair - Everywhere!

Does anyone else have unwanted hair over their body?

I do, and it is starting to make meextremely upset and self conscious. I am worried what my future husband will think of me when he sees me.

I have hair even on my feet and toes, stomach, in between and on the breasts and back as well as sideburns and long neck hair.

Does anyone else have similar problems?

Long before I'm ur age I will have started some type of permanant hair removal..I have very fair skin too and I used to bleach it but the hair was long and so it sparkled like diamonds and it also started bleaching my skin, and I dont wanna be any lighter than I already am.

Everyone my age waxes their upper lips. Times are a changing woman..what country are you in right now? In Canada and America, everyone does it. Come see the chicks here and u wont be so shocked

Meeeee. All the places u have it lol It really bothers me too, But I shave my legs and arms, wax my upperlip, face and neck and thread and pluck my eyebrows...I just let the sideburns be. Makes me stand out dotn it? lol Ppl will remember me...even if its as the girl with the burns loll

When ya get married, get a full body wax..I dont bother with my stomach and back and chest and breats right now cuz I feel I'm too young, which I am (turning 15 soon...and what I mentioned up there is alot of hair removal already) I dont like this site's beauty section..it enoucrages us to remove body hair, be pimple free etc etc. its pathetic really. I saw ur post and wanted to reply cuz i know wahts it like but other than that I hate it

I was a little shocked to hear that you are only 15 and you wax your upper lips and face. I understand you have an issue, but waxing will only make the problem worse over time. Its not permanent and it makes the hair grow thicker and stronger and if you are 15 now, I can't imagine the texture of your skin on your face and upper lip when you are my age (26). You may run the risk of developing a dark shadow from all those years of waxing your face and upperlip. I have seen girls with it and you can tell they do some kind of hair removal to their faces. The waxed skins develop this dark after-shadow look after a while, especially if they are fair skinned. I saw this look on a brown skinned girl too. Its looks really bad when others can see it and I would be so embarassed.

I just bleach the hair on my upper lip and face. I don't wax it. Bleaching is okay but *sometimes* in natural sunlight another person can notice small tufts of white hair on the face.
This is only evident on my side burn area.

I have also tried Electrolysis (wrong spelling?) which is the ONLY permanent solution to unwanted hair. Laser is effective but its not permanent. I stopped Electrolysis because it was too expensive. It was costing me around $50-65 an hour and this was 5 years ago. But it works. You repeat it just like Laser but its permanent. I had one long neck hair that is permanently gone now and one on my cheek that is gone too.

For now bleaching is effective because I have fair skin or else I think the white/blond hairs would be more noticable on darker skin. Waxing the face and upper lip in my opinion is too costly to the face in the long term. I would never do it.
