I have itching over my pubic area after ovulation. We have been ttc for 14 months now. Whenever i get itching like this i feel like this is a symptom of periods. And i have a thought like i will surely get my periods:(. And i m loosing my hope for that month.:(.Is it really a PMS or Is it bz of the increase in progesterone hormone after Ovulation. Can somebody please shed some light..I m thinking abt this whole day n it makes me sad..:(

Hi there,

Wht u r experiencing is common with many. And tht thought tht comes along too is common..pls dear dnt worry abt it.....stay postiive and like archie mentioned try not to think of getting pregnant.....u knw thts the time it happens mostly.....the more u think abt it...the more u run into thoughts like wht if i am pregnant or wht if i am not....thts not going to help in anyway...so cheer up.....

get engaged in things tht u like to do and believe in god....everything is in his hands after we do our part.

If u experience itchiness and it gets uncomfortable try to buy some hygene wash and wash it 3 to 4 times a day...it helps or apply some lotion.

Tke care dear
Loads of baby dust on u and all of us.

Rups

I get the same experience exactly how you mentioned. I too lose hope for that month. But, I did read in internet that even when you get pregnant you might still have that itchiness. (i think it's a mild yeast infection, which happens during the hormone changes - like period or early pregnancy). Like Archie mentioned, we just have to be positive and not give much thought about the symptoms.

Wish you all the best
Vandhu

how about not thinking about pms or pregnancy, just give try on right days with opk and leave it to God. More you think and stress the lesser are chances that you will get pregnant. Help yourself!!!!!
