I am married to a very abusive but genius husband . He knows very well how can he torture me emotionally and is capable to drain my all positive energies. FRom time to time he hurts me phyiscally also .He is a very nice and caring father to kids.
Now after lots of fightings and all i decided to move out but am not able to do so.. Reason : an eye opening incident before me .
He was beating me very violently and my kids were watching it . They were crying and were trying to save me from him . when i locked up me inside room and was calling my parents , my D of 5 years started to cry ..not to call police and not to give his father to police. My husband left the next day for official trip . my kids are missing him and as he has called them once ..they were asking him to come back .
I am not able to understand child psycology and dont have intention to poison my kids mind against their father.
I am feeling very hurt that how is it posible that my kids love him so much . I am not able to digest the fact that my 24*7 parenting and husband' s speding just 20 minutes( after coming back from office) with kids are equivalent.
If my kids love him and are missing him then definitely i would like to give it a try to stay with him . I wil try to find out other possibilities to stay with abusive husband without loosing self esteem .
Please help me in understanding the child' psychology .I am very disturbed/depressed so not able to view the things from all perspectives.Thanks ap replied. Well children usually look for security and a family and to their mind this is provided by father and mother. It is possible that since father is working children these days also understand the financial support and provider of the family is the father.The children will not understand any other level of contribution from mother or her love and caring. I think these realisation comes later..for now, dont be very harsh or stricts with your kids on day to day things..
