here in USA pedi dont recommend salt. I dont think habit of sugar too is good unless they have all the teeth properly grown cz sugar decay teeth.

My ped asked me to add lil sugar when my baby suffered from constipation. I wasnt giving the sugar. so She was having hard stools. Doc told me lill sugar & salt is ok. Esp. Soups etc does not taste well. & the child also starts likin it. But dont indulge the habit of too much sugar for everything

Hi! Thanx a ton for the advice but then what do i add to say khicri, dal or if i make rice pudding. Bland food does not really go down well with my baby.
