In todays first life, where most women are working, late pregnancy means pregnancy at an age when she is professionally well places and professional burden becomes the word of the day. Secondly, a woman should always plan pregnancy in such a way, so that when she retires at the age of 58 or 60, her child at least gets a professional masters degree and still has another 5 years in her hand for her child to get established after education. I will assume you mean what is in the title: right age for pregnancy: There are 2 aspects to this. One is the chronological age and the other is the maturity level.
Chronological age is your real age in years. It is not advisable to delay pregnancy beyond 30 years. Even though a 30 year old woman is young, her eggs [which are in her body since her birth] are aging and sometimes they get damaged, resulting in birth defects and mental deformities like Down' s Syndrome]
A mother should be healthy and on folic acid/folate [a type of Vitamin B] at the time of conception to prevent defects at any age but sadly the chances go up as she grows older. Having said that, there are women who marry late or delay pregnancy on account of education/career. Such women should have a pre-conception assessment and then conceive a child under medical guidance. In any case one should see a gynecologist while PLANNIG a pregnancy, irrespective of age.

The second issue is that of mental age and maturity. If the marriage or relationship is stable and you know or have made sensible plans for career management, child care, support structure etc, you can plan your baby. If you are in a shaky situation and feel your relationship needs to mature and become stable, then you need to work on that first. Some people feel having a baby will solve all problems and bring a couple closer. Some families feel that if the young couple have a baby they will stop fighting. A little baby cannot resolve your problems and magically make your world a happier place!!!
