Hi Girls
I read that Omega 3 and Omega 6 in FishOil/Cord Liver Oil(Like SevenSeas) is great for baby's brain and nerve development, esp after 20 weeks.
I read abt it too on the internet and looks like its a good idea.
For NonVeg eaters, they can get it in seafood but for Vegetarians like me this supplement is good, I read.
Have any of u heard abt it, I am going to ask my doctor and see if I can take it too.

Any suggestions?

Hi bargavi,
I also read about omega 3, its good for baby's nerves. Also I read that if u r suffering from depression, omega 3 can help reduce it.

Actually my dr prescribed 'Primacare'this is a pack of AM&PM separate packs.The AM is white capsules of omega3&PM is pink tablets of prenatal multivit's.BTW r u in the US,then u can discuss with your doc abt the same brand.Gluck!

Hi Bhargavi,
Though iam a non vegetarian,since my pregnancy i have hardly been able to consume much non veg.So to fulfill the protein need my dr has been giving me a capsule of omega3fatty acids[fish esp salmon is the best dietary source] i take it once daily in the morning&my regular vitamin at night.
You cld discuss this with your dr too!

Can u tell me the name of ur medicine or brand name.. From which week did u start taking it. I am almost 20 weeks, hope its not too late.
Any other medicine ur taking? I take folic acid, prenatal, iron,calcium.
Pls tell me the name of ur omega3 and the dosage like mg of each tab.
