My 2 month old was breast fed as well as given formula milk 2-3 times daily. Now he refuses the bottle and pushes the nipple with his tongue. But he is fine with breast feeding.
I am concerned about this as how will i mange when we are travelling by car or when we are out. I read about avent sipper in the posted articles..will this be ok for a 2 month old..or is there any other suggestions. I have also tried widening the nipple hole. vidya replied. Hi Disha!!

My son is 7 months old now and I faced a similar problem, wherever I went I had to look for wash rooms and try rooms to feed my child. What i did was, i started weaning him feed by feed. I started giving him bottle in the morning continuously for a week, no matter how much he cried and became hysterical. In a week he got into the routine of taking bottle in the morning. The next week I started giving him bottle in the afternoon, for a week, slowly he got used to that routine. Like that i did for every feed. Now I breast feed him only at nights. He takes the bottle with ease now. Try it, it will take time and patience but worth it.
