Kids & Food:tiffin problem

Dear friends,
I am a working woman, leaves home early at 5:50, and hence it becomes difficult to cook any tiffin for my son. In school, the teacher insists to give chapati, bhaji, but he refuses to take whatever vegetable is cooked for our tiffin. Sometimes I give him egg omlete, sprouted pulses with onions, tomato and cucumber. Please help.

Hello Angela,
If teh school insists on giving chapati's in tiffin & your kid refuses to eat teh veg try this out.
Beat the white of one egg with little tomatoes, salt, cheese (choose whatever you want him to eat - even plain egg with little salt would be good & filling) Keep aside.
Roll chapatis made of maida.
Roast it on a tava on one side. in the meantime on the top uncooked part put a spoon full of the above mixture & spread it. Then turn the chapati so as to fry the egg side. Roll & pack. You can even cut it into rounds after folding & decorate with cheese. It will take you hardly 5 min. {i normally prepare chicken rolls in the above manner. It takes time but tastes vry very nice)

You can also try theplas accompanied with boondi raita.

So my sister’s child is a very fussy eater. She generally makes veggie cheese rolls or sandwiches to get her to eat her vegetables. She tries to use colourful and pretty veggies to get her to eat. Giving smoothies, fruit salads and milkshakes is another appetizing and attractive method.
