Dear Rashmi,

Hi! Dont worry. A week here and there before or after the due date is o.k.
If you have dilated 1 cm. , then you may go into labour in a day or two.
Even if it is induced ( like I was ) it is not so terrible. After seeing the sweet face of your little one, all the pain borne is forgotten. All that matters is you and your darling.
Be happy and wait for the lovely day when you have a little one besides you!
bye.
Anupama

Hi Rashmi,

There is no cause for concern if u r just past ur due date. Normally The docs here (in abu dhabi where I reside ) wait for a week--to 10 days before inducing labour. AS they say--natural pains are the best.

And giving birth a week before or after the due date is perfectly normal rashmi..In my last pregnancy....I delivered almost a week after my due date with natural pains. So no reason to panic !

All u can do is to relax, sleep well, try not to think too much about it , keep yourself busy and of course,,walk..walk..walk !!

So take care and all the best
Nivea.

Stem cell banking on with life cell
yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Relicord is good but the offers have so much marketing gimmicks. Other players lacks either the technical inf... - CK [View Message]

Good Gynae in Dwarka
Hi

I am new to dwarka and want to know if there is any good doctor having her clinic here (I expect them to be visiting some good hospotal).

I know some good doctors in gurgaon like Dr Chetna Jain (Columbia Asia), Dr Manvita (Max).

but can anybody suggest someone in dwarka as gurgaon would be far for emergency situations.
