Hi all,
hope u r all doing good. I'm in my 17th week and so far so good. My weight is under control only 4-5 lbs increase in 16weeks. I'm not conserning about my weight or being stout but my nurse told its better to join in prenatal class so that the body will have strength for delivery and also for relaxation. She also told till 5mths there'll be little weight gain but after that drastic changes will be there. Being overweight will may lead to ceasarean. I don't want ceasarean (my sister had 2ceasareans)
So I want to know anyone of you joined prenatal yoga classes . I want to join but my husband little worried so I said ok I'll ask our group.
Can any one of you taking prenatal yoga classes?
thanks in advance.

Hi all,
This is my first pregnancy and am 18 weeks now.I joined prenatal yoga when I was 14 weeks pregnant. After attending,I WILL SAY ITS MUST.The excersies are light and relaxing.I can feel the level of flexibilty in me and was told by my yoga teacher that this would be helpful in delivery. So ladies, look for yoga class with meditation.I feel good and positive after 15 min meditation.

hi sushmita:

I have enrolled in the prenatal classes. That would contain everything from physiotherapy to exercises to preparing us ( me and my hubby ) for the new born later. I am in my 5th month and they say from now on I must exercises ( light ones! ) for atleast 30 mins without exhausting myself. This will help me at delivery time and post delivery as well. I'll be going for my first class this saturday. I am looking fwd to it...

bye and take care, pooja

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
