Whenever I used to hear about some women or girl getting abused by a relative…I could not believe how can people do it…or why would somebody do that. This morning I just heard about my cousin in India. Her MIL was not in home so her FIL took the opportunity and tried to abuse her. I am not sure to what extent he went….but she raised the noise…beat him with chappal very good…went out side the house and started shouting for help and all the neirghbors came out…. She was with 2 little kids at home. Her husband was not at home either.
A similar incident had also occurred previously but she kept quiet…but this time she did a good job…But I feel sad to hear that such old lustful bastards would not even spare their DILs…

your cousin did the right thing by naming and shaming him but i am just wondering how did your cousin's husband react to all this. i really hope he supported his wife.

Hi Pooja,
I am also curious to know about his husband and even MIL's reaction. I dont kn ow how would he have reacted to that. I just had this limited information that my mom told me on phone when I was talking to her this morning. I did not probe her too much about the incident.I am in US and my whole family is in India.
But whatever it was...it was indeed very shameful..when you hear such kind of things in your family..
