I gave my daughter rice cereal when she was 4 months. She vomitted couple of times that day. We tried one more time and again she vomitted couple of times. Our pediatrician asked us to take break for a month. After a month we started with oatmeal cereal with BM. She did not like it. Initally for a like a month we entertained her, made her laugh and when she opened her mouth, put little bite in her mouth. After a month or so she got used to the taste and took it more easily. Also we used to add mashed banana or aaplsauce or some fruit to give it little flavor.

Hope that helps!

Do not force your baby to eat the rice cereal. At 4 months of age, we give rice cereal to babies to just give them an idea of solid food and does not have to be his complete meal. Give him couple of teaspoons initially and not 2-3 tablespoons. Also you can entertaining the baby little bit and diverting his attention while he is eating the cereal. Once he gets used to the taste he will accept it more easily. Also you could mix it formula or breast milk to it to give fimilar taste.

Hope that helps!

Try to mix it with formula instead of water. You can also try other flavors of cereal particularly fruits like banana. You may add a little bit of Glucon D (original one \";not oraange flavor\";); this will make it sweeter. The most important thing is not to give up. I started giving my baby, solid food after he completed 5 months.
