Hi Aarti,
REad ur previous reply regd. formula....
have u ever given lactogen to ur baby in india....if so which one to look for .....please tell me the specifications.....i came to india 3 weeks back and plan to give lactogen to my 9 month old so wanted to know the details of lactogen for a 9 mnth old.Thanks....

Hi Rohini,

Yes, I have given Lactogen to my son in India although he was used to Similac. I hope my memory serves me right. The IP members living in India can correct me. There is Lactogen 1 and 2 and they differ based on baby's age. I chose the one which was appropriate for my son's age.

The only difference which I found between US based formula and Lactogen was that I could literally mix the former in cold water and it would mix well; but for the Lactogen I needed to slightly warm the water.
