Feeding:Are 2 eggs for 13 months ok?

My son is 13 months and is not eating anything apart from half boiled egg. Since he likes eggs can i give 2 one in morning and one at evening?. He still likes only blended food but eats only 2-3 tsps. I am very much worried. Kindly help

You should only give him the egg yolk if anything. Due to allergins. Children under 2 are only supposed to have the yolk scrambles, boiled, how ever you make it. But just the yolk. I would suggest only one egg yolk per day.

I read about your querry and suggest you follow the advice given by Poonam we dont know what type of food you are feeding your baby if you decide to give 2 eggs a day would it be better ask your doctor for mor advice or want your baby to be addicted to eggs and nothing else best of luck

Hi
I don´t know about what are the other things you are giving to your baby but here in Brussels , pediatrician says that giving one egg in a week is enough for babies. My baby is 14 months and we don´t give him non veg but I give him egg either one in a week or two but not more than this. I give him lentils, bread, fruits, vegs etc. You may try to give not the similar food daily but make different recies and make this attractive and playful. Hope this will help you.
