I am ttc since last 3 years have been on clomid,then repronex then gonal-f & cetrotide.There is nothing wrong except as I have irregular periods bcoz of pcos.I decided that since I am sitting at home i will volunteer at hospital for some time but in US it is mandatory for them to giv eme slin test for TB & it cam epositive but chesst xray was negative but now since county had send letter about that to my specialist he is telling me that I should take 9 months medicines recommended by county before tring to conceive .I also contacted my physician ho is an indian & she said even she was positive when she came here but after that had 2 babies & nothing happens but still I am scared do any of u have any advice or have been in this situation. komal replied. Thanks all of you after repeated conversations with my ivf specialist he told me the only way to go around legally is that you get an letter from an obgyn who deals with high risk pregnancy & if he oks it then he can legaly continue my treatment he referred me to such dic & have an appt with hin next thu.Also I talked to my physian who is indian she talked about my case with some Infectious disease specialist & he told me as long as my laprascopy & hsg of tubes report is ok there should be no connection & even he will clear me for further treatment.And luckily all my that reports are ok.So am hoping that my treatmnet will be officially ok after next week will update you guys.Someone asked my age it is 30 & am going to 31 on aug 19th. I am not sure why but some how 99% indian who are in USA if they go for TB test it comes positive. i don't know the reason. when i migrate to usa and for admission i had clear that test and it came positive. i was under 16 at that time. now i am over 25. i don't have kids yet. but my guess is that ask your Indian doctor again. and ask her Positive and negative effect about it.

Interestingly I too experienced the same problem recently- I was asked to take a Skin TB test, which came postive and it was followed by a negative chest x-ray. I am sure that I have had the BCG vaccination as a child but still my skin test came postive....even I don't understand why ? But I didn't know that it could affect the ttc process :(
By the way, which age group are you in ? I am 27 , ttc and have no history of TB in my family.

if you have had bcg it's not surprising that your ppd test came positive.
Unfortunately USA rules are different and you got to get on medication for 9 months.
The defination of positive ppd but negative X-ray means there is a chance of latent infection. Means not active TB but there is a possibility. although this condition is not expected to interfere with ttc process, why not to treat yourself and see whether this is a root of all your failure in last 3 years.

have you tried combination of Metformin+Clomid for irregular cycles while ttc.
