Hi ,
I have concieved after 9 yrs of my marriage, till now everything was fie , I got my doppler done last week and my doc saw the reports yesterday. According to her the flow of blood is not very normal in the baby , I am really worried now. She will be starting doing NST from this week only ( ie 33rd week) and will do it every week.
My BP has been very normal throughout but now she has asked me to get it checked on a daily basis. My HB was 11.2 in the 3rd mth, then 13.1 in the 6th and 11.5 in the 7th mth , which was normal , but now the HB has gone up to 12.7 which according to the doc is not healthy for the baby . I am so worried now .I have had so many ultrasounds done till now , and now again she has asked me to get another pregnancy doppler done. I am scared to death now, I know i shuld be positive in my attitude by I seriously cannot help it.
If anybody has some more knowlege about this please do write.
please pray for my baby
Natasha

NAtasha, i would ask the doc some ques..i have had friends who have been anemic and gestational diabetes and yet had healthy babies. they had to just get iron pills to increase the Hb..and anything below 10/11 normal is worrying..that affecting the flow of blood and why isn' t understood..did they they tell how that count affects the flow to baby? or is it something else..
My knowledge is limited to tests done in US, but don' t think this it should make a difference..I can understand u being worried..but do remain positive. I am sure that your baby will be fine.till then read more about ur issue and ask doctor too what exactly is affecting flow? fo rmy friend, it was more a concern of her not being able to work and be with older child and tiredness while driving, the baby was told would be fine and had iron prob last pregnancy too for her..and her baby is healthy and fine.
Take leafy veg/dates/figs, if u want to increase it and avoid them if u want to decrease. Do read more about anything the doc says so u r more aware of the diet u take.
I am sure ur baby will be fine.
take care
Radhika

Hey,dont worry..things are going to be fine..if you stay calm and happy, it will automatically have a positive impact on your' s and baby' s health, so stop worrying..its always good to get multiple tests done and be very sure on whats going on, on a regular basis than not taking the test and wondering whats going on..

so, be brave..all will be well..you are in my prayers..take care dear :)
