Problems in School:5yrs 10mths boy still cries in school

my son has been going to school since 18mnths - starting with playschool - now it is 2 mnths since std i has begun - he has still not settled in class - he does not want to go to school - he is always very sad at the mention of school - he cries in class - he is an excellent student as far his academics are concerned - but i fear that such sought of behaviour on his part will soon lead to him falling back in his studies and will in no way help his popularity at school - PLEASE ADVICE

Hi,
Please talk to all of his teachers, the principal and his classmates. Kids are generally stressed out when they cry,something in school might have disappointed him or he might still be taking time to settle. Observe how he is in the class.
talk to the parents of ur kids friends, u can get an idea of how the other kids feel at school.
talk to a child Psycologist, provide the doctor with all the feedbacks u get from teachers and his classmates, this should help the doctor help ur kid
