my 5 week old wants to nurse frequently for every 1 hr sometimes even lesser thn that.my pd stresses to feed on schedule.sometimes he cries frantically shortly after feedings.this makes me skeptic whether i've enuf milk supply.but his wet/stool diaper cts are perfect.anyone pls help.
he sleeps peacefully at nights and i wake him up for feedings.but in day time he hardly sleeps 2 hrs totally ie often oly cat naps.

ur baby is only 5wks old. he needs to be fed on demand. not on schedule. as long as he sleeps at night. dont worry

Dear akhil mom
No need to worry about.Everything is normal with the baby.. and in the day they generally tend to sleep like that.there routine will set slowly. It takes nearly three months for there system to work properly

According to my gyno, I have some special hormones due to which i can easily lactate and due to that my motherly instincts are extremely high. I was lactating until 1 yr back & I still can induce if i want to breastfeed anyone.
