hi all!
my daughter is 10 months old,i'm giving her raagi malt in mornings alternate days,can anybody suggest how much quantity i need to give her!right now i'm giving her 3 teaspoon!i stay in california,i also want to introduce whole milk as formula is not suiting her,but doctors here suggest to introduce it only after 12 months!has anybody given it before 12 months if so pls let me know!

My baby completed her 10 month this 19 nov and i started feeding her whole milk and she is doing absolutely fine, in olden times when we were young our mom fed us whole milk and our grand parents did the same ,why not we?

I feel its perfectly fine to introduse whole milk to ur baby,Well in India also babies r given that from 3-4 mths of age,i m sure even u must have had that ! However the Drs in US do suggest formula due to the high content of Iron in it but the same can be obtained from various other food like Turdal khichdi n veges.Dont always be hell bent on the the ped...at times it is fi=ne to go with the old grandmother advice also....n indian babies r no diff than babies in US....so fine go ahead with whole milk as long as it is supplemented with other nutritious products

Hi Sujatha,

I'm in Atlanta, Ga I switched to whole milk when my little one was 10 and a half months old. She did fine with it.
