my kid has turned 4 this july and he is in nursery class. people say he is going a year slow.actually ours is a transferable job and by the time i reached my current address it was jan. the other nursery students had covered amost the entire syllabus. i didnot want to put any pressure on him, so i decided to put him in nursery this session. will it have any effect later on??????plz advise nidhi replied. hi ruchi

i could not make out where you stay but the age at which a child goes to nursery is, at times, different in different places. My niece was addmitted to nursery when she completed 4 yrs (in noida) while I will be addmitting my son when he completes 3yrs (in Bombay). This is so becoz at noida after nursey they have K.G and then First class while at bombay my son will go to nursery then lower K.G then upper k.g and then first. So check with your son' s school, how he will move forward?
