can anyone suggest whether i can add sugar to whole milk. my daughter she is 13months. she is bresat fed for 11months and she hates to drink from bottle.
sometimes if i mix a little sugar she drinks.

can i mix horlics,complan or any other please suggest and what qty.

siri Vidya replied. Your daughter is now 13 months and she can very well drink milk from a little cup. Normally pediatricians do not recommended bottle after 12 months since it can rot the babies teeth.

Also if you are in USA, then you can buy pediasure drink and add couple of ounces of Pediasure to give flavour to the whole milk. Pediasure is very nutritions and has lot of good fats for the babies. It comes in different flavors like strawberry, chocolate, orange, vanilla etc. You can find more information about pediasure on their website.

I do add a pinch of Sugar in my dau's milk. As for Horlicks or Complan I don't think there is any harm (but again i'm no expert) but try adding just a little.
Another thing you can do is trying giving her a Sippy Cup instead of a bottle may be she'll like that better
