Diet and Exercise:Need to reduce weight after delivery

I have a delivred baby 5 months ago and have put on weight big time espceially on bum.. can anyone pls help me reducing the weight. I still have sum pain when ever i try walking fast and any hard physical movement.. pls give sum suggestions???

Breastfeed : This is not just good for the baby but helps the new mom lose weight. Doctors believe that breastfeeding burns around 500 calories a day.

Drink lots of water : Drink at least 10 to 12 glasses of water a day. If your urine is yellow then this is a sign of dehydration. Drinking water will help refresh your body.

Balanced meals : Since you are a new mom you cannot go on a diet. But make sure that whatever you eat is healthy. A well-balanced meal should include fruits, vegetables, lean meats, fish and low-fat dairy products. Try sticking to only fruits and vegetables.

Absolutely do more exercises but if you want expert training then you can join Cradle Hospital. They have several branches in India. This tip I am suggesting because my wife has done the same thing after delivery.

Go for a 30min walk everyday. If u r breastfeeding u' ll lose faster. Fat around hips...well u' ll have to burn it off...try cycling while lying on ur back.
