What's the difference between
veg biryani and pullav?
I always make pullav but would like to
know how to make biryani.
Does anyone have good biryani recepie?

Hi,
This is a late reply but in case u read it. In pulao u add the vegetables and rice together and cook it whereas in biryani u cook the vegetables or chicken (in case of non-veg) separately and u boil rice separately and then later on u make a layer of rice, add the vegetables, again add a layer of rice and then cook it on low fire. So hope it helped.

Hi,

Even i used to wonder earlier what is the difference between biriyani and pulao.I too make good pulao at home.Tried biriyani recently.U can find some biriyani recipes in tarladalal websites.Go to the contributed recipes section - some readers have posted biriyani recipes there.
