Hi

The best veg. diet thats healthy and non fattening is 3 cups of milk a day, 6 almonds, walnuts and a couple of dates.
3-5 servings of cut fruits except pineapple, papaya.
Apples, oranges, melons & grapes are very good .
If you are taking pre-natal vitamins, dont overdose on Vitamin A found in carrots.
1 cup of spinach, i stir fry it in butter and garlic.
I drink soya milk cause i dont like milk.
Get loads of carbohydrates such a rice, lentils and potatoes.
I eat one boiled egg daily.
Avoid mushrooms since some may be toxic, raw eggs in the form of mousse or tiramisu and cheese such as feta and brie.
Hope this helps.

mango is good, as long as u have like a mango milkshake or a glass of milk after it, since it is heaty.
Ask ur medical care provider for a list of items you can eat. Also the internet has a number of resources that will help u step by step. I am a member of a number of websites such as babycenter and babyzone. I have a week by week personalised calendar informing me abt the changes my body undergoes and the care i should take.
the more info you get the better idea you will have.

diet during pregnancy
Maintaining a healthy diet during pregnancy is very important.

During this time, your body needs additional nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

In fact, you may need 350–500 extra calories each day during the second and third trimesters.

A diet lacking in key nutrients may negatively affect the baby’s development.
