Hi

Any of ur babies having constipation and/or passing lots of gas/wind?

If so and if you have solved the problem, pl. tell me what changes u did in ur diet and/or any exercise etc. for baby ? I am at my wits end and haven't been able to solve this problem till date :(

thanks for ur replies :)

is it just one burp after each feed? or its typically more then one?

i wait for the first burp and let her sleep/play after the feed probably that's the problem.... and she is having so much gas.

Mom gives me 10-15 garlic cloves a day in milk. SUpposed to relieve gas.
Also burp burp and more burp
Also doc told me to press the tummy lightly immediately gas comes out sometimes... also this will help baby

Don't worry..unless baby is in pain.
Burp the baby doc says even if it takes long time after feeding say 10 mins..bottlefed will burp immediately breastfed rarely, unless baby doesn't latch on properly to the breast.
Other gas pain use mylicon drops.
Drink lots of fluids if u are brestfeeding. (need more than 10-12 glasses,best is to drink a glass after a feed)
Thats all i know a bit..diet some foods cause them but lactation says doesn't matter much its more of how much air the baby sucks in..

thanks radhika. i am burping the baby but still the same :( all r blaming my diet for the baby's condition but am on almost all boiled food and situation isn't improving as yet :( :(
